Some more of my puzzles are up now over at mathe-kaenguru.de. This time, it’s a set of 6 Star Battle puzzles (as well as a tiny puzzle by Bram which probably slipped in along with the applet). The puzzles are listed under April 1st; there’s also a print version.
This one is a hybrid of Starbattle and Heyawake (Heyawacky). Since apparently I haven’t had enough skyscrapers, I keep misnaming this “Skywacky”. Inspiration?
Rules Solve as a regular Star Battle. In addition, connected stretches of empty cells aren’t allowed to cross more than one region border.
I’ve made some star battle puzzles recently, for a series on croco-puzzle that’s starting today. Here’s one that turned out a bit hard. 3 stars.
Rules Place stars in some cells, such that each row, column and area contains exactly 3 stars. Cells with stars must not touch, not even diagonally.
